Almost Friday!
I have been so incredibly busy lately! But somehow I find time to do nothing. Wonderful, isn't it? :)
Last week we had the parades and all region. At the parade I was just glad that I didn't trip over the camara man's cord! That would have been embarassing. All Region went good, except for the percussion auditions being 3 and and half hours late! Who knew that 7:05 was the new 3:30? A lot of people were successful, but I realized how unfair it is. Kyle and I were both in rooms were 4/5 of the people didn't care and didn't even know their music and Patrick was in a room where only 1/5 of the people didn't know their music. So Patrick missed phase two by one spot and Henry, Kyle and I all got to go. But it's alright, he still has an awesome girlfriend. :) j/k.
Anyway, my school obligations are almost up for this semester...just a few more things to do. We were supposed to disect cats today in Mr. Mclaughlin's class, but God intervened. I am sure the opportunity will still be there next week though. I am not sure if I am excited or not!

Well, school is almost over for the semester...just a few more weeks. I think I can handle that!
My parents went to Mr. Bertholf's funeral but I decided not to go. It's just too sad. :(
Today in band we played Street Fighter. Yeah, I stink at it pretty bad. Doug let a few people win...but then he destroyed everyone else with his custom made control.
Well I am about to go to the awards ceremony for the bronze medals and then go eat! Hopefully tomorrow I will be able to go see Harry Potter. :)
My how feelings can be so diverse in the same day.

This week I have been driving to Pottsboro baby-sitting Stephanie's boss' kids. The older girl, Hannah, is really nice...and the younger girl, Meredith, is too, but when she is with her friend, Kelsey, they are completely crazy! They fought over this purse, and after I settled that, I looked away for 1 minute and when I looked back, they were fighting about something else! It was okay though...I told Meredith that Jesus would love Kelsey no matter how mean she was to her. I think I really did make an impression on her...at least for a few minutes.
It has been two weeks and I still haven't received my liscense in the mail yet! Oh well, it should be here soon.
I want to watch a lot of movies! Peace out.

Today...da da dun! My room got clean. My mom wanted to help me; that means she wanted to throw a lot of my stuff away. Luckily, for most of my stuff, I condensed it into smaller piles before she saw how much of it there was! :)
Last Wednesday was my birthday, and I got my liscense! yipee! I also got my haircut which was on of my favorite parts of the day. David gave me the biggest book I have ever seen about card games and rules. When yall play poker in the band hall next year, yall better watch out!
Patrick gave me Ella Enchanted, and I have watched it numerous times. It makes me feel happy!
Cody just got back from Cozumel and I am jealous! I also just went jogging and now I hurt.
Patrick went to camp RYLA (I don't know what it stands for or where it is) but no one is allowed to have phones there because they need to be interacting with the group the whole time. He won't get home until Friday. :(

Yay! for all concerned, 24 more days of school! Which is 6 days before my birthday. I am so excited. This week I have band every day after school. goody. Monday-Wednesday=drumline camp, Thursday=orchestra and band concert, Friday=Dillingham. Also, I have to finish my monster essay for English and my calculator project!

I am really ready for school to be over. I really don't like it when people are stupid...
On thing I am really excited about is Star Wars! My church bought some tickets for opening night! The last few years they saw Lord of the Rings opening night but it was always during finals so I could never go, and just my luck, by the time I don't have to take finals anymore, they've all come out. :(
Last week Stephanie, Leah, my mom and I went to Sam Moons and I got some pretty earrings!
These next few weeks are going to be crazy. I have to finish my calculator project, write the essay for Wightman, go to drumline practices, visit the little kids at Dillingham...I think I want to be a bed tester when I grow up. That would be a great job.

Well, I have not posted in a long time so today I will! My weeks have been packed with things to do. I can't remember the last time I was on the computer during the school week.
I found out yesterday that I have strep throat. I got a penicillin shot...It didn't hurt that bad but it was awkward. My tonsils are huge and look really gross!
One thing I have been meaning to write in here was a conversation I had with Patrick a few weeks ago...I had asked him what he did at campouts and he actually confessed to me that he and a friend once got bored and silly enough to prance around like velocoraptors. We started talking about how crazy this was, and this is what followed:
me: "Why would you want to be a terrible creature that tried to eat people?"
him: "I am highly convinced that they were just playing tag!"
me: "Why did they kill people with their razor sharp teeth and claws?"
him: "It's not their fault that's the only thing they have to tag people with!"
hehe...
My schedule for next year might be challenging. I wasn't able to double block band because of capstone but that doesn't really bother me because the music this year is not hard at all and we get bored in the back easily. There really is barely anything to play at all. I wish we could play pieces that were written by percussionists. I guess that's why I decided to be on the winter line.
Next week should be nice because I am going to go to San Antonio on Thursday after school! The only thing bad is that the Friday I am going to miss is the day that I have an algebra test and a chemistry test. I also have another history test next week and possibly others since it is the last week of the six weeks. I really don't like studying at all but I have to do it.
Oh yes! I got my permit a few months ago! yipee! Sadly, my birthday isn't for another 4 months.
I have been thinking a lot today since there's not really been anything interesting on tv. I read a few old emails and conversations and I miss what I used to have and don't have now...friendships and such. I've just really realized how everything has changed a whole lot. And I'm not sure whose fault it is. But, not all change is bad!

Yay! No more school for a while! I was in dire need of a break.
Today was fabulous! My mom, Stephanie and I went to the fabric store to see how creative we could get...but the final product isn't finished. :)
I watched Gilmore Girls that Allison recorded for me while eating fajitas and then I went to Patrick's house. We ate pizza and watched Shrek 2! It was fantastic.
Tomorrow I get to go to church and then Servant Team! that makes me happy. :)
This next week I need to:
1) do the little amount of homework I got
2) PRACTICE!!
3) learn how to drive.

Yesterday we went to the Lone Star Classic drum line contest but we didn't compete. We should have though! It was a lot of fun! Right after we left the school for the competition, we realized that there were some people still inside at the snack machine and then we saw them running as fast as they can out the band hall doors. :) We also left Cody behind but he followed us there so it was all okay. Erin came! :)
I saw so many people that looked like someone I knew at the competition! I just might find my own twin at one of these competitions.
Doug and his girlfriend Patricia are so much fun to talk to. I like to listen to them respond to Justin's crazy comments. Patrick and I bought them dinosaurs from Sonic. :) (They saw the one I had gotten and were jealous.) The ride home from the drum line competition was a lot of fun. Justin claims that "he is so loud because he is quiet when he sleeps." Doug wants to look inside his head for a day. Justin got mad at Ryan for some reason and said..."Man I'm gonna hurt you so bad you won't be able to go to school Monday...OR Tuesday!" For some reason we thought that was hilarious. He also said "I was gonna buy me some sticks but I spent too much money at Burger King." :)
On Friday, Patricia played her solo for us in the band hall and then again in the orchestra room and it was incredibly cool! She is a really tiny person but she runs from one end of the marimba to the other, making it look easy.
The Battle of the Axe game was the funnest game I have been to this year. We were late and still marched in...that was kinda stupid...but I still had fun! David gave me and Patrick a dollar because we completed Taxi Driver by being flexible...each of us put our right foot on our drum! Kirstin and I switched drums in the 4th quarter; it's always fun to try to play something I have no clue how too! We all switched back to our original drums and we were playing something, having a good time, then all of a sudden we look up, and the game is over! Our football team looked sad...we'll get it back next year! And anyway, we won at halftime!
I had a dream that I was in the Music Man and so was Anthony...and he had a sister! It was really weird, because she looked like him...a lot! I dreamt up my own character! Isn't that weird?
Time for church!

I had a long afternoon today...but this morning was fun! The drum line went outside and even though it was kind of cold, we still had fun. :) And, we could possibly get our shirts tomorrow which makes me excited.

This morning started out like a dark and dreary day (ooh! Mrs. Dixon look! an alliteration!) but ended up being a fun, nice day! I slept until 8:30 but church starts at 9 so I went to church with a wet head and it got cold! I thankfully had my letter jacket so it wasn't that bad. My dad won tickets to a Dallas Cowboys game so they didn't come to church with us which is why I didn't wake up on time.
After church Becky, Katy, Stephanie, Cody and I went to Taco Bueno and ate because we didn't want to cook something to eat at home. It was fun. :)
I went home for a while and then I went to Amy's house to work on our Algebra project and we had some good times. We went to wal-mart and bought some secret supplies...hehe Our project is going to be the best! We almost finished it but I had to leave to go to Servant Team so we are going to finish it tomorrow. :)
Servant Team was nice...I like it!
Now I am watching Finding Nemo, and tomorrow I get to see Wimbeldon with a magnificent boy.

I saw the Seussical the Musical last night and it made me laugh so hard! It was so good. Josh and everyone in it did such a good job.
So yesterday morning I went to the Arts Fest and it was a lot of fun. I love going to the Arts Fest. After that Jenna T., Stephanie, Patrick and I went to Chick-fil-a to get free chicken sandwiches. We had six coupons. :) It was gooood. We also went to Hobby Lobby so that Stephanie could get some scrap book paper...she is so indecisive and picky. But I think her scrap book is gonna look really cool.
Today is my dad's birthday! We went to Tracks today for lunch after church. It was tasty.

Today in band Doug brought us into his office to let us listen to the "modern music genius...Wesley Willis." Cody, Patrick, Doug, Whitney, Henry and I laughed our heads off. There was a song about McDonald's (and its fatty foods), A Vampire Bat, A Chicken-cow, and my personal favorite, "I whooped Batman's [insert word here]." It was really funny though because most of the songs had the same introduction into them. It was crazy...he had chronic schizophrenia and wrote songs about the bad voices in his head. Doug saw him in concert and all he brought out there was his little keyboard with the songs programmed on it. :-D
And after it was over, Cody walked out of his office singing the Batman song really loud. :-D
